NEW YORK BLUES: The Beat Goes On- SaRon Crenshaw
Oh yes it does! This week I am submitting photos of SaRon Crenshaw and his band. I had seen SaRon a couple of times before but he was flying solo, just him and his guitar. He was good. I finally caught him with a full band and holy smokes...SaRon and the band were cookin'! The band was tight and mixed in some slick funk grooves with their blues sound.
Terra Blues manager Richard Lee and a friend were sitting in with the band and punctuated the band's sound with their horns. They were throwin' down some killer sounds that night. I'll tell you, there's something about catching a band like this in a small club. The vibe was electric! Once again I was reminded why music is near and dear to my heart. Let's see what other musical surprises the coming week brings.
