Here's a little info about my friend, Tony Adams from the TAD website, "Tony is also a recording session specialist, hired by record labels, producers and engineers not only as a player but frequently as a drum technician. In this role he works to deliver optimal and sometimes unique drum and percussion sounds possible for such diverse acts as Matchbox Twenty, Creed, Alter Bridge, Sevendust, Puddle of Mudd, Disturbed, Nonpoint, Brother Cane, doubleDrive, Edwin McCain, Angie Aparo, Less Than Jake, Corrosion of Conformity, the Superjesus and many more. Drawing from these experiences, Tony recently began holding clinics on drum tuning. No stranger to the road, Tony has also worked multiple tours with Matchbox Twenty, Staind and Alter Bridge."

One 17 1/2 minute reel now costs about $250

We had a couple of great days of tracking and I enjoyed both the vintage B-3 of Russ Wheeler which I played and also my own XK-3c Hammond, both of which performed magic. Thanks Laurens Hammond and Don Leslie.
Memphis Blues Society Jam

Yesterday the Memphis Blues Society placed a new tarp up on the roof of Memphis Slim's original Memphis home which is badly in need of restoration. Thanks to all the fine folks and volunteers who donated time and funds to help with this ongoing effort.

This week we return to yet another enjoyable blues jam held at Neil's on Madison where some great music was played by the blues insiders of the Memphis blues scene. Below are a few images of the night's fun.
